Worst bank don't open an account here. I had a business account and they put a double hold on your checks unheard of. Not even my personal bank does that. This is supposed to be a business account needs to cash the checks asap. Therefore i cancel my membership. Then later I got a check from client that is a current member there . I called and check to see if they could cash it they said yes . I get there and they ask for my id which is ok . They even called the member to verify. She said yes I gave that check. I had an appointment with Daniela. Not only did she treat me with kindness when I was not approved for an account right away. She gave me advice on building credit so when the time did come, I would be better prepared. Imagine, being treated like a valuable person when not even a customer yet. Thank you.
Don’t be fooled, or an idiot, this “credit union” has garbage high yield checking/savings interest (or “dividends”). They spend advertising dollars in the DUMBEST places (ie sponsoring women’s soccer at a stadium that sees attendance in the 100-200 range, or sponsoring the Semi pro team (Fleet) back when they were a thing for 2 weeks. Don’t think you’re a good person for using a credit union like SDCCU, they’re just like any bank… except the interest/dividends they pay out are non-existent.
