Overdraft protection does not work. Account was always negative when it was supposed to have overdraft prevention. They locked me out of my account over a measley $20 dollars rather than fix the mistake on their end, yep fantastic customer service lol stay away from this bank there's so many better options.
Worst bank I ever been to. I've had nothing but issues with SDCCU. I'm responsible with my money. And I'm constantly Being charged for canceled memberships (I make sure to defer the payment of all my memberships and cancel them before the due dates so it's not me!) so yet why am I still being charged It's an error from the dumb overdraft protection, who likes checking their account to see a surprise negative balance from something that's genuinely not your fault. All around and awful bank I keep hearing credit unions are supposed to be amazing. I have yet to experience in the 15 years I’ve been banking with them.
I have been coming to this branch for decades. Today I want to recognize one of their employee Emily, who was very patient with me. I had to dispute a charge on my debit card and she was very nice and patient and took her time to help me every step of the way. I really felt her sincerity and I really appreciate all her help. Thank you for all that you do Emily, you’re great!!
