I don’t usually leave reviews—let alone negative ones—but our experience at Scripps Perinatology was so disappointing, it felt almost negligent. First off, customer service is abysmal. When I called to schedule or follow up on testing, I was met with vague responses, endless delays, and no clarity. The front desk gave me the runaround. It felt like they didn’t want to help. It’s baffling and incredibly frustrating.
I’m sharing my experience today because I’m disappointed. I went in for an ultrasound/ 8 months pregnant ( the tech was polite, informative and professional) due to gestational diabetes. At the end I asked if they could take my blood pressure since I was there and because I’ve been monitoring it daily but my cuff at home broke. I’m also a nurse; I know my chances of preeclampsia are increased with my diagnosis of GDM, how suddenly preeclampsia can occur and the fatality rate. The ultrasonographer Natalie was fantastic, it was a pleasant experience! The exam was very detailed I was not expecting it!
This review is for Irma at SCLJC OP PERINATOLOGY. I worked with Irma to schedule appointments and follow up on testing results. She was great, very communicative, caring, and provided frequent follow ups. I highly recommend working with Irma to schedule your visits and follow ups.
From the ultrasound tech, to the nurses to Dr. Jasmine Lai. I had such a great experience in this office, despite my unfortunate circumstance. Dr. Lai showed a lot of kindness and empathy and went into detail about baby's condition. She goes above and beyond for her patients. Highly recommended office.
