With responsibility over the ER, dr ludwig is the most uncaring, unprofessional, and most egotistical person I have experienced, EVER Multiple weekly visits to this Scripps for well over 3 years. One parent infected with WNE, unable to walk, in different facilities for 2 years, at the same time I was caring for my mother battling Stage 4, with most of her needs here as well. Patient beware! This emergency room commits highway robbery. We went in with my infant son who was running a fever. They took his temperature, tested him for flu, COVID, and rsv, and gave him Tylenol. The bill total? $8,840. That's right. For a temperature, Tylenol, and those three tests, almost nine grand. I thought for sure there was a billing error, but I've called and tried every avenue and there isn't. This is what they are charging me for that. I came in to the ER with extreme knee pain . Had previous surgery on the knee for torn meniscus. The night before I was putting on my shoes. Heard 2 loud pops and the pain was unbearable. Iced it.. took Tylenol . By morning, I could no longer walk on that leg at all. Pain was 9/10. Lost most motion . I've now been sitting in the back for over 3 hours. Did an X ray and an ultrasound. Pain at an 8. My chart says I cannot take nsaids or Tramadol. Took at least 2000 mg. Of Tylenol before I came. Dr. Offered me Toradol, Gabapenti... read more
