Patient beware! This emergency room commits highway robbery. We went in with my infant son who was running a fever. They took his temperature, tested him for flu, COVID, and rsv, and gave him Tylenol. The bill total? $8,840. That's right. For a temperature, Tylenol, and those three tests, almost nine grand. I thought for sure there was a billing error, but I've called and tried every avenue and there isn't. This is what they are charging me for that. I came in to the ER with extreme knee pain . Had previous surgery on the knee for torn meniscus. The night before I was putting on my shoes. Heard 2 loud pops and the pain was unbearable. Iced it.. took Tylenol . By morning, I could no longer walk on that leg at all. Pain was 9/10. Lost most motion . I've now been sitting in the back for over 3 hours. Did an X ray and an ultrasound.
