The imaging facility is extremely friendly, and modern. But my best experience was with the nurse technician John who completely reset my mind about MRAs. He was gentle, professional, explained everything and listened. He needs to be recognized for going above and beyond to ensure my experience at Scripps. Even apologized for what was not his responsibility (my first MRA had to be rescheduled be cause the system didn’t have my blood results available on time) Congrats to you, John, and thank you!
Nurse Judy is not only highly competent. She is extremely kind, empathetic, detail, oriented, and communicates with humor.. I am very appreciative for her extreme kindness. She is truly an asset to any medical environment.
Very unprofessional staff they don't communicate and expect a patient to sign a waiver for the error of personnel in scheduling. Manager promises to reschedule same week but broke the promise. I'm very disappointed with the service and I'm a RN. Go somewhere else like Sharp or Kaiser.
Scripps needs to be BANNED from medical practice for preying financially on our community: Scripps tried to charge me $10,000 for a simple abdominal CT scan, making me responsible for $1,000+ out of pocket with insurance! My wife, a healthcare provider, found a reputable imaging center that will perform the SAME PROCEDURE for $500. $10,000 vs. $500 for basic imaging of the stomach.
