I was referred to Dr. Savan due to some abnormalities in a routine blood test, and have spent months freaking out. I showed up to my appointment to find this doctor absolutely hilarious, kind, and mentioned these reviews. This man is the very very best. Every doctor should strive for his bedside manner.

Dr. Saven is clearly qualified as an oncologist but was monstrous in his treatment of my cancer. After being rushed by ambulance to the Emergency Department on a Sunday he did a bone marrow extraction on the following day. In spite of my protestations that I preferred an interventional radiological approach Dr. Saven said "we don't have time". He proceeded to extract the bone marrow in his office without waiting for the local anesthesia to be effective. When I asked about sedation my wishes were not considered. I have had tw... read more
