Went to urgent care where the staff and nurses were wonderful until a very arrogant and emotionally unstable Dr Johnson walked in, tried to push a test on a minor that was declined by the child, got angry at the mom for advocating for her son and stormed out suggesting she (physician) needs to calm down! Remarkable performance (for a low budget drama perhaps).
Horrible service. Your healthcare team is supposed to assist you (and be reachable), but it’s sad how unavailable and apathetic their team is. I regret ever turning to them for help because I feel like I’m doing everything to get a small amount of care with them. How upsetting.
I recently had my hearing test done by Jennifer retana and the experience was horrible ! The way she talked to me was as if I was a a burden. She never looked me in the eyes once when she talked to me. She had no compassion. Was it because I have tattoos on my arms? Or maybe because I was Asian? I have been a patient at Scripps Clinic since I was in college in 1973. I have never had poor service …ever. I have been to the urgent cares, I have been a patient in their hospital as well as Scripps Memorial and besides having a myriad of doctors, I had one doctor for over 40 years. I refuse to go anywhere else and I drive from Riverside County. I can see where an urgent care visit would take longer. Scripps Urgent Care is almost like an emergency room.
