I think the core concepts of this business's service are good but the pay is really only appropriate for students/people studying for entrance exams. Which is not the availability they desire for hires. The on site management after implementation is also confusing to the point it's inappropriate. Structures are not in place for physicians to really voice opinions or know what the contractor's plan is. I was blessed with the incredible opportunity of being an Emergency Department scribe for 1 year. I am currently a Junior Project Leader implementing a hospitalist scribe program. My time with ScribeAmerica has been more rewarding than I ever imagined when I applied less than two years ago. I am incredibly thankful for all of the knowledge and inspiration the people of this prestigious company have instilled inside of me. I have worked with the most motivating physicians, and my passion for people increases every day.
I have heard great things about this company. I never listen to the negativity, so I submitted an application a few weeks ago. I was emailed by a local QA here in my area for an interview. I am excited to step back into the medical field as I have been all of my life. I am optimistic about my career with ScribeAmerica.
Waste of time. The meeting was supposed to be held at the Second Cup in the General Jewish Hospital in Montréal but it ended that there's three Second Cup in the building so i had to figure out wich one it was by myself. They told me they could'nt hold me by the hand... I had to ask the information stand of the hospital to finally being able to find him in a random conference room. Horrible upper management. You don't get paid for the work you do, and money gets stolen from you without explanation. Great experience, but this can be achieved other ways. Would not recommend to anyone.
