Great drinks and the bartender Juan was fabulous! He was very friendly and can make any kind of drink you want. We ordered the French fried ketemens and they were the best fries I've ever had. I've lived in MV my whole life and this was my first time at Scratch, I'll definitely be back and going to Juan for my drinks.
Salad dressings were VERY salty. I had the lobster pot pie as a main course. The lobster was as tough as leather, and I needed a steak knife to cut it into bite sized chunks. The pot pie gravy could have benefited from roux--nice flavor but not very savory because it was so watery. They've got an excellent wine list, but I'm not coming back to try it.
The service was great but the food was fantastic. I had some of the best lamp chop ever, and my guest had excellent scallops.
This is my favorite restaurant within its price range! Everything I've eaten there has been delicious, and I've always had great service. Some items on the menu, as described, may sound simple, but what comes to the table always exceeds expectations.
Great staff and excellent food. The whole place has a friendly and festive atmosphere.
We were a large party. The staff took great care in serving us and the food was delicious. I had the scallops, loved them, and the sweet potatoe fries.
