I second "horrible royalty owners relations!
My royalties were taken from me 3 yrs ago scout energy sent court papers saying he was given to someone else no more checks but still getting tax bills. Now letter from lawyer saying I owe back taxes. Called everyone for 3yrs no one helps me!!!!!

Original: Dealing with the death of my father in law who owned oil rights managed by Scout. He also owned rights through 3 other management companies. Received immediate help from the other three. Multiple attempts over 3 weeks with Scout and nothing. If they don't care about the dead, they will not care about you. Do everything you can to find a different management company.
