I've had a great experience here. The doctors, the nurses, the charge nurses, the staff is amazing. Mrs. Sandra RN for room 621 day shift on 3/17/2026 needs a raise she is the reason for this review happening though because she went way above and beyond her duty. I left a pamphlet review for her also but I wanted the world to know how amazing she is.
Thank you for taking care of 2 family members. My brother Sam, who been in and out for over 3 years and now my mom Dale, with heart issues. BSWH takes care of them. Friendly staff. BIG hospital so a lot of walking. When I myself have to visit, also a great hospital. Kudos!
The absolute worst hospital I’ve ever been to. I walked with a GSW at 5 am and I didn’t see my dr until 3:30 pm, very unorganized, no urgency. Kept being asked the same question about which pharmacy I wanted my prescription and after being asked 4-5 times they still got it wrong. I felt like no one cared and excuses after excuses. It got to the point to where I didn’t want to be there nor was I comfortable there and I asked to be discharged that took about 3hrs alone. They think that the process is more important than the needs of the patient. I had gallbladder removal surgery on 11-14-25. About a week after surgery I noticed an inguinal hernia and brought this up to the PA assigned for my surgery follow up. She said it was not a hernia but just fluid that should resolve itself. Two weeks later I was in such pain I couldn’t sleep so I contacted the PA. She scheduled me for a CT scan on 12-31-25. The PA called with the results that said I may have a hernia.
