Love working with Dr. Trenhaile. He has been treating me for years and I have always felt like I am in the most capable hands to care for all my shoulder pain and injuries! He has always been so caring and very explanatory when I have had questions, he even drew a diagram of a shoulder on my sheets before surgery to reassure me. Most definitely the best in Rockford. I will always turn to him with any questions or concerns and I know I will always receive an honest and caring answer.
This was the single worst experience I’ve had in a physician or specialist’s office. The care was contradictory, with a nurse giving different advice than the physician's assistant. I met the surgeon just once, even though I had two pre-surgical visits and one post-surgical visit. I met him for two minutes before I was administered anesthesia. I have had two appts so far with Dr. Trenhaile and I have yet to meet him! The first time I met with Michael Gilbertson and he was a knowledgeable young man who ordered a MRI. Today I was suppose to get the results of the MRI. I met with another young man who did nothing but read the report to me and when I asked about a term he handed me another pamphlet. He had no idea what Dr Trenhaile would do in surgery but told me 3 or 4 things he might do. So now I am suppose to schedule surgery with a Dr. I have never met and get som... read more
Good listener, seems highly competent and respectful. I felt I could trust him. I recommend him.
This doctor is great I was there for a shoulder injury several years ago, and now I’m back for my other shoulder. I highly recommend him.
From the beginning to the end, everything went smoothly and all my questions were answered.
