I’m 1 year post op from a fifth metatarsal fracture that required a plate put in. Recently, I pivoted my foot several times in one day and experienced some really sharp pain. I was thrilled to be able to get an appointment so quickly with Dr. Sauer. The office staff was extremely nice and professional. I drove 45 minutes from Mt Pleasant to see Dr Sauer. GPS told me 35 but unfortunately traffic changed and it ended up taking over 45. On arrival I had to find the handicap ramp and hobble up to the entrance. I was 17 minutes late and the desk informed me I was past the 15 and he wouldn’t see me. It probably took me two minutes to get from my car to the desk.
