Dr Hamler is one of the best doctors I’ve had throughout my whole transition and medical experience. I am located in Cleveland and make the trip to see him for my appointments because he listens, makes time to help with my medical issues and always comes up with a good diagnosis to treat them. Also the fact he has humor in his practice is a plus. He’s a great doctor :)
One star purely because the person on the phone I tried making an appointment with asked if Patient, who has happily been under Dr. Hamler’s care for several years, was a member of the LGBTQIA+ community. Because Patient is not a member of this community, I was summarily told that Patient could no longer be seen by Dr. Hamler. Patient was dropped & I was told to find another care provider. Patient was dismissed based on his orientation, which is discriminatory. Ridiculous.

Being treated by Dr. Hamler was one of the most pleasant doctor interactions I’ve ever had. He explains things thoroughly with great understanding. I was confident in his diagnosis and everything he recommended. He has a very comforting presence and makes you feel like he’s happy to be helping you
