Dr. Scott Ross is the only human I know who can say “you should exercise more” and somehow make it sound like a compliment. His bedside manner is so calm and reassuring that my blood pressure probably drops just walking into the building. Dr. Scott Ross ruined my life. When he performed my mitral valve repair via open heart surgery, he messed up. He told me that this error could have been prevented had he had a “cold” probe that is used in other hospitals across the USA but not at Roper. He caused me to have intercostal neuralgia. It is very painful and has changed my body physiologically. I have chronic excruciating rib pain. Also, it interfered with the mechanics of my respiratory system. He is literally the best Doctor! He saved my life so many times and I mean that. His thoroughness and compassion for his patients is bar none. I have come to believe that most of the physicians in Myrtle Beach are just making a paycheck but not Dr. Ross. My husband and I have never had the same PCP but we both Love and appreciate him. I will recommend him to anyone who is looking for a caring, knowledgable and compassionate Doctor.
