It’s been 40+ years since I seen him.He was kind, considerate and spent time to explain the procedure before and after. He left a lasting impression on me to this day.

When I was diagnosed with breast cancer a friend recommended Dr. Hamling to me. I’m so blessed she did. When we went to see him, it was so scary as I had little to no information of what would happen. He made both my husband & I feel informed, that the decision we made was the best for me. He gave us the history of breast cancer & lumpectomy vs mastectomy. He spent an hour with us answering at least 15+ questions from me. We didn’t feel rushed. Waited a total of 50 minutes before being seen. He was very arrogant and smug. Did not answer my questions. Was referred there to do a breast biopsy my primary doctor found a lump. He would not perform the biopsy. I have had cancer and was trying to explain my concerns he was very insensitive and dismissive. Would not recommend him! I had a $70 co-pay for a basic breast exam my primary doctor could do total waste of time and money!

Arrogant. Not very friendly or comforting if you can see someone else.
Dr. Hamling performed a breast biopsy and he was very informative from our first appointment through the surgery and our follow up appointment. He was friendly. He made me feel welcome and I was comfortable asking him questions. He's extremely knowledgeable and put me at ease that he was the right doctor to be doing the procedure. He never made me feel rushed during our appointments. Top quality doctor! Highly recommended.
