Dr Risser took X-rays and did a cold test, then told me a root canal was NOT necessary. He filed my new crown instead. So far, so good. He could have scammed me, but he was honest!!!!
I had pain around my lower jaw. I found out later AFTER Risser's appt. it was a cavity. Here's the kicker, one could see the cavity with the naked eye. He was too engrossed with my root canal to see the forest from the trees. He is a root canal specialist or so he says. Taking X-rays was so fun as they pack your mouth with a sensor device that is gouging your gum line, a very uncomfortable experience. By the way, Scott's personal auto is a Porsche Cayenne or Macan. Very caring office personnel and doctor!
My experience here has been very traumatic and a big reason in why I do not trust the medical field, especially dentistry. I came here for a root canal for an abscessed tooth, the procedure during the root canal seemed fine and I was comfortable. However Dr. Riser left one of his assistants to fill in the root canal. When the assistant took over she worked on it for a minute before being interrupted by the front desk lady for some reason, she rushed the rest of it and must have done something horribly wrong because when I go... read more
