Terrible. This guy couldn't have been more distant or unconcerned about my medical issue. Barely let me tell him what was going on before he announced a diagnosis, which turned out completely wrong. Luckily, I found a Dr. in CDA who properly diagnosed my issue. Surgery and all is well now. Not sure what's up with this guy, but he and the entire office just seem more interested in the insurance money mill. Cannot recommend.
Rushed, not interested or caring
I’ve never experienced such a bad doctor in my entire life. The 5 star reviews here are highly questionsble. Dunn and his junior partner are more interested in assemble line appointments and not at all concerned about follow up or quality patient care. I got a second opinion from a dr in cda which saved my life. Even doctors in cda know what a quack Dumn is.
For over 30 years my wife (and son) and I have knocked on Dr. Dunn's door for the full spectrum of medical issues. He delivered my son, 22 years ago. I noticed that Dr. Dunn's rating on the site is 2.9 out of 5. I found this hard swallow - I do not understand. The only thing I can attribute that to is the likelihood that the very few that have a negative experience are the folks that are most likely to offer up a review. Overly interested in prescribing meds instead of ordering tests. Completely disinterested in what I had to say. Not worth my time or money to ever return to his office.
I gave Dr Dunn a chance to provide care for our family even though the reviews are pretty evenly split between those who sing his praises (but without much factual info) and those that provide stark warnings about his lack of attention to detail and misdiagnoses. I don't know who is writing these reviews, but there's not a thread of truth in it. Dr. Dunn is one of the best doctors in our area. Have known him for years, and has always taken my health issues seriously.
Dr Dunn is the last Dr on earth anyone should go to for anything remotely serious. He is too distracted either by his private practice patients or the many elderly patients he has under his exclusive “care” at Valley Vista nursing home. He does not run tests or do critical follow up with his patients confined to the nuraing home. He just overly sedates them so they won’t complain. If he ran simple diagnostic tests & followed up properly, I know of 2 patients would still be alive.
Dr Dunn provides the lowest possible standard of care possible without losing his license. He is an ageist and provides little to no actual professional care to patients in his contracted nursing home and that reflects poorly on his private practice. More elderly patients have died due to his laziness, incompetence and greed than those in other local nursing homes with better doctors contracted. Do not let your older loved ones become his patient. Their life expectancy would be in serious risk!
