was seeing him for 6 months and he was treating me for something i never had. he put me on meds that had to be ordered from canada which put me in the hospital with heart issues. finally did a test for what he was treating for to only find out i didn't have. and instead of him calling me with my results, the desk lady calls to tell him. he wouldn't get on the phone to talk to me and wanted to see a pa instead of him. totally blew me off.
He is an excellent Gastrointestinal Doctor. Very concerned about your issues. Takes his time. Very kind.
Best doctor out there.
My husband saw Dr. Cohen - he asked if he had any complaints or abnormal symptoms. He said NO this was for a Preventive Colonoscopy. colonoscopy at Ocean Endosurgery We were told the cost would be 650.00 I said no this was for a Screening and covered, I was told no he was to have a special screening for malignant neoplasms of the colon. I called the office and was told the same thing I then cancelled the appointment. now we are being billed for an office visit that should be bundled !!
Husband went to Cohen over the course of two years. Imaging of every variety all negative. Demanded that he have his gallbladder removed. A surgeon, that he referred us to, said not only would it NOT help, but make matters worse. Finally diagnosed him with IBS. After a visit to a urologist for stones, Dr Low did another MRI showed a mass on his liver. One more MRI by Dr C and FIVE radiologists assured us it was a collection of blood vessels. Five months later my husband died of liver cancer.
