I did not have a good experience with Dr Allen went to the emergency room with SVT. I have a history of AFib but SVT IS not Afib he told me that I shouldn’t go to the emergency room with Afib which this time I didn’t ,I had chest pain trouble breathing and erratic heart beat asked him what I should do if this SVT happens again his answer was WAIT IT OUT. I’m 81 and felt taken aback at his answer which translated to me just stay home and die.I am very happy he’s not my normal cardiologist.
Having just moved back to Cape Coral ,I was lucky when I contacted Florida heart to get an appointment with with Dr Allen because of a cancellation at the Barkley office in Ft Myers ,the front desk staff was fast with the check in and Dr Allen’s staff were courteous and caring .The wait time was minimal and after an ekg Dr Allen came right in ,he explained to me in an unhurried caring manor the best options to proceed with my care ,he took time to answer my questions and concerns ,I feel blessed to have him ,Thank You Dr All... read more
Dr Allen and the entire staff in the office are truly incredible! I had my longest wait today, 15 minutes. When Dr Allen comes in he sits down and talk TO you using clear definitions for the medical terms and he is not rushing out to the next room, he is there WITH YOU.
Dr. Allen is an excellent physician. I see him because I have a prosthetic heart valve. Things are going well, but I always have questions . He is very knowledgeable and takes the time to give me answers in a calm, reassuring way. I highly recommend him.
