He has been my GI doc for years. He listens well and answers my questions. Also his prior nurse and current nurse are great.
I have worked with Dr. Brotze for years. He has always been professional. I believe he really cares and does listen. I would highly recommend him. As far as the office staff, I have not had to deal with much. I am bothered however that people rate the Dr. based on the staff when that is the NOVANT system problem. People need to go to them to complain first and rate the dr. on his work.
Dr Brotze is very competent and professional. The office staff on the other is the complete opposite. They only call to tell you how much money to bring for a procedure, but do not follow up with any more information. Seems it is the patients responsibility to constantly call and track down what time your procedure is and when you should arrive.
I would not recommend Dr. Brotze to anybody since he could not help me. He did not hear me and could not help me
Dr. Brotze is fine. The office / reception staff is poor. They handed me two forms to sign with zero explanation. When I inquired about the cost I may be expected to pay, I was given a phone # to call. The answer from that phone call indicated I did not need to sign. No one would tell me that I would receive a $345 bill because the facility used for my screening was not completely covered by UHC! Staff is either lazy or woefully ignorant on insurance issues!
Dr. Brotze is good but the reason I gave him a ONE star is his office staff is AWFUL!! I saw him and had some extensive tests done at the hospital..NEVER heard a word back from the office. I just had some issues with my stomach and had to go to the ER and they wanted me to follow up with him ASAP..I called and they couldn't get me in until August 30th!!!! REALLY, I am really sick and need to see him and they want me to wait a month. I said I will go to another Dr and they said OK!!! Don't go!!
