I’ve never sat in a restaurant and felt compelled to leave an immediate review, until now. We came in for Sunday brunch, we should have trusted our gut and left as soon as we walked in and saw the place was nearly empty. The buffet doesn’t even look appetizing. All of the food looks like it has been sitting there since they opened. Nothing I’ve had has even been warm, room temperature at best. The english muffin base of my eggs benedict is so hard that I nearly need a saw to cut through it. VERY disappointing.
Once a year for the past 12 years as Wichita is a stopover on our annual road trip (Minneapolis to Phoenix this year). Exceptional service. Memorable meals. THE go to place in Wichita. Period. Side note; After a delicious filet minon dinner, and with a glass of Cabernet left to finish, we suggested to our waitress (Katie) that some dark chocolate would be nice with the wine. This restaurant was recommended by a good friend and we were looking forward to eating here. We came in at 6pm. We ordered before 6:30p and we did not receive our entree until 7:45p!!! There were FIVE other tables. The couple behind us ordered just before us and they had their entire meal and left by 7:30p!! Our waitress, Katie was very slow and left dirty dishes on the table long after we were done with them. She was not attentive. The only saving grace was the wine and prime rib was good.
