Being able to dine next to the fireplace was nice. Food is expensive for quality of what you get, but not the portions. Unsure I’d ever put my wallet thru that. Thank God for the Groupon, but kinda bummed we were relegated to the dinner menu (which you always know is higher priced).
I had peppercorn steak, fries, salad bar, and a bowl of cheddar broccoli soup. It was all excellent. Our waiter, Nate, was very good. And the price, considering the quality and quantity of food, was very reasonable. And I liked the rustic environment of the restaurant. I highly recommend Scotch & Sirloin.

Absolutely my favorite restaurant in the Buffalo area! We have been going there for at least 35 years for every New Year’s Eve, birthdays, anniversaries and even “just because”. Last night’s dinner was for my birthday. I usually have Prime Rib or Steak Teriyaki, but last night I threw caution to the wind and ordered Cajun Grilled Salmon topped off with a Maple Glaze. I am not a seafood lover but I have to say it was absolutely delicious. All I can say is I love the Scotch!!
We had a party of 18 about half of our orders were not right our steaks were overcooked or not cooked to our orders Abit disappointed SORRY won't be going back
Been there many times. Always good but last Friday went there and it was very disappointing. We ordered shrimp bisque and couldn't taste any shrimp at all. Tasted of corn and potatoes. My wife even wondered if we received the correct dish. Then we ordered escargot at $14.50. Tasted of absolutely nothing. Very bland. The bill was $150 and not worth it at all.
Unfortunately my chicken was raw. We used to love it there but definitely will never be coming back again. Between food not being cooked properly and the way the problem was handled it made for an awful night out.
We decided to go to Friday Happy Hour & try the free buffet they advertise. Popcorn and drinks were great. Good value. Buffet was fried chicken & potato wedges. They were probably good when first put out at 4pm. We didn't get there until 5:45pm and they were room temperature at this point not too appealing. Not sure why they didn't have warmers under the trays. Disappointing to say the least. Ended up getting French onion soup and unlimited salad, made up for it.
