This review has nothing to do with Dr Alison Powell. This review is in regards to their BILLING DEPT only. I had eye surgery at Atrium Surgery Center in Indian Trail, NC on 06/162025. The anesthesia was provided by CHS Anesthesia Services Group (Dr. Powell). My Insurance at the time was Med Cost and the administer of the plan was Marpai. I had a procedure done in Laurinburg---Scope file my insurance wrong--so I receive a bill--I paid the bill--but my insurance company said they had fax Scope and inform them they had file the bill wrong--I tried calling Scope for a week--2 and 3 tines aday--to get my payment return--But No one Will return my call---I have even called the Laurinburg Hospital and they didn't help--very disappointed in both companies!!

My 77 yr old sister had surgery this week at Atrium Pineville. Dr. Scott Palmer saw her for her pre-op evaluation. We were immediately impressed with his bed side manner. EXCELLENT! Dr. Palmer explained in great detail what the anesthesia team would be doing in preparation, during and after her surgery. He then advised and explained why, of possible additional monitoring such as an arterial line and/or central line and that there was a possibility she may wake up in ICU.
