Rob from the Marriott Union Square insisted that our family try the "best seafood restaurant in San Francisco" and he was right. Hands down the best crab cakes I've ever had. Great food, great service by Kathleen and her assistant (don't remember his name, sorry) and the decor is fabulous. 1965 was a great year! Make your reservations early. We will be back!
They have the #1 ingredient for restaurant business: location. Otherwise high end prices for mediocre service, ho-hum dishes, and ordinary ambience. Yet it's packed! So why bother improving if business is good? Gave them a 2nd chance, not going there again - there are so many other better choices at the wharf.
I didn't know linguine and clams could taste so good. I also had some of my friends clam chowder, it was as if the ocean exploded and filled my senses with deliciousness, yes it was that amazing! Fantastic Service and a breathtaking view. Don't miss this one!
