The menu focuses on fresh seafood that is either sauteed or broiled. Enjoy Dungeness crab, prawns, scallops, calamari, abalone, swordfish, salmon, oysters and clams. House specialties include a spicy cioppino (seafood stew) and a filet mignon and lobster tail combo. The wine list is adequate, featuring domestic and imported wines.

what a really homey environment. Server Kevin F., made us feel like we were hid personal guests and he was telling us what were the items he would have if he was navigating the menu. Plus he made you at home. His suggestions were spot on, I had the deep fried anchovies and the Cioppino, my wife had the Oyster alla Scoma & Crab meat thermodor. Everything was wonderful. If you are in SF, my suggestion is you have to go here.
Been coming to this place for 25 years and it's always fantastic seafood. Ordered the Diplomatica which is not on the menu.
Very good restaurant the clam chowder is fantastic!! Good service.
Every time we visit San Francisco we make a point to come to Scoma's it is the best food in town best service and that's according to me hahaha! yes I'm a little partial...
