I called ahead and they said they did not take reservations. I told them we would be coming on saturday and they said it shouldn't be a problem. It was also very difficult to get ahold of them as they do not answer their phones. When we got there no one was there. No cars, place was empty. We were told they had 2 big groups coming and we could not canoe... we would have to come back in 4 hours. The lady was rude about it also. They referred us to Trapper Johns just down the road. Water is great, the people running the place are super friendly, and down right funny! The only reason I say it's "not the best" is that the trip is rather short for my taste, and the canoes are a bit basic. As a bigger guy, not having the option of a back support is sort of a killer for me. I may try kayaking next time though.

Finally made it there this Wknd! We got there 10:30 had river to ourselves! When we left at 1 parking lot was packed full! We liked that you don't have to have a set time to show up! Will go back again! Only suggestion we had is mile markers!
