I was treated by Dr. Schulman about 25 years ago for varicose veins at his Manhasset office. Varicose veins are hereditary and like my mother, my veins were pretty bad, in fact my left leg was basically blue. Unlike my mother however, my treatment was not surgery but simply a series of injections that compress and collapse the veins and make them disappear.
