Would not recommend her under any circumstance! I was impressed by her resume, which is why I initially scheduled with her for my son. I am not an ageist. In fact, I prefer doctors with experience, but she was very forgetful and hard of hearing. Communication was very strained. She misplaced my son's test results when I needed them for another doctor. She called me back to make a lot of excuses as to why. She said I was being "unkind" because of my frustration with her. Then she hung up on me.

I called Dr Schuelein and she had me come in that very day due to my discomfort in symptoms. She listened to all my concerns and symptoms, did a thorough assessment, then referred me to another specialist and called the specialist in front of me for me. She was very kind, patient and informative. Co-pay was very expensive but I've never been to a neurologist to know if that is average or not.

Dr. Schulein is great. She's always kind, friendly, and warm. Getting an appointment or reaching her by phone is never hard. She spaces her appointments appropriately so that she always has plenty of time for you and there's never a wait. She's got enough experience to have seen everything twice and that only adds to my confidence in Dr. Schuelein.

She is insightful, very thorough, and she is not quick to prescribe medication until she is confident that it's the only solution. However, being her patient is a painfully slow experience and you have to be prepared to sit through the frustrating time it takes for her to do her work. On the bright side, she is very accessible via telephone, appointments are easy to book, and she is interested in her patients.
