I took my laptop in for a broken hinge. They asked for my login credentials, and I didn’t think much of it at the time. I was originally quoted around $350, and the final price jumped to $500. Whatever — I ended up fixing the hinge myself anyway. What bothered me was what I found afterward. They installed Secure Updater and Drive Adviser on my computer without my permission. Quality company with great customer service. Second time I've done business there. Both times the staff was very informative with the intent to give back the best product. Highly recommend.
I had an old laptop from 2014 lol. It wouldn't make the Windows 11 update. Checked the Shrock website and got lucky with a new open box 2025 ASUS Vivobook at a great price. The set up was me just having the passwords to windows. Smooth and easy and I have a local company for any help I may need. Highly recommend.
