I have been ordering iris from Schreiners for over 35 years off and on. started around 1976. I wont order from anyone else as their plants are the best. I just ordered 13 more dwarfs this year and cant wait for them to arrive. keep up the great work. I have a good selection of iris both tall and dwarf and everyone tells me how beautiful they are.
I will be ordering from Schreiber, this year. I have gotten their catalogue many years ago,and wanted to order. They have the Black irises that I have always wanted.
After purchasing a house with my husband this past August, I decided the yard needed some landscaping. I was somewhat skeptical that anything would grow (other than the copious amount of weeds.) My mom has ordered from you before, and now that I have a garden, I wanted to try my hand at iris. I received my rhizomes in late August, and all of them were clearly labeled. The iris from here are amazing and beautiful! I just wish I had gotten myself together to order for this fall's planting season. Next year I will do better!
My 8 new rhizomes arrived quickly in excellent shape. Planted the next day, now, about a month later (I'm in Massachusetts) each has gone beyond the juvenile phase of 'shooting the finger' and has 4 to 6 new leaves and bulbs growing off the sides. They are massive, larger than any I've had before, and change every day. Am very pleased so far. Also, a very easy to navigate website got me checked out before I even knew I'd ordered!
