Went to Dr. Schreiber as a GP. Per the exam he prescribed a colonoscopy. Since I did not want to have the procedure done by Dr. Schreiber he would not provide a referral. Additionally upon having an exam with another physician Dr.Schreiber would not provide my medical records.
We went on a recommendation…started out just my daughter, then myself, now my son and husband all go to Doc. He is no nonsense and will address every issue asked.He has taken all my calls-gets right to the point and we try to fix the problem. He has shown respect and even a little humor, our family relies on his expertise and his skills have not let us down.Thanks Doc….your very much appreciated.

Good thing about him: he'll get you a referral to go somewhere else, a specialist. Also, he can prescribe you medication and approve refills. He can see you the same day or next day of when you call. Bad things: you wait forever in the waiting room full of people. Then you are put in another room and spend forever there (like 20+ minutes). I've been happy with Dr. Schreiber as my general physician. He was able to get me immediate appointments with other doctors when he examined me and suspected I had cancer.
This doctor is an ego maniac that has no patience answering the most basic questions from the family of a sick relative. He is a frustrated jock that would love to do sports medicine only but cannot make a living at it so he does colonoscopys instead.
