Would leave absolutely no stars if it was an option. She is arrogant, does not listen to her patient, talks over people, talks about her own personal life, excessively, request ongoing appointments when you just were there a few months ago, request bloodwork that is unnecessary several times a year, and just refers you to other doctors rather than treat you. She is a complete joke and on a power trip. Completely unprofessional and Valley Health should be ashamed to have her in their building.
During recent visit talked over me, talked about herself and her family events and issues for over half the visit, then made an inappropriate comment about my family that in no way related to anything medical. Most arrogant full of herself doctor I’ve ever dealt with. Snippy, brushed aside my concerns, and very immature in her responses and her questions to me. Bizarre experience to say the least.
Dr Schott will tell you what she thinks and backs it up with loads of references.Get ready to take notes. She has made room for me within hours when I wanted an appointment for something that came up.
Not a very thorough exam, and somewhat hostile at my refusal to take the vax. Rushed through the visit, and seemed confused with the computer medical records program, that also had incorrect information. I am currently searching for a more open-minded physician.
I wish I could leave a positive comment about Dr. Schott but I can't. She is so impersonal and I get very anxious when I am around her. I agree with the previous comment about her speaking about other people. She made me wait over 30 minutes in the patient room and when I went out to use the bathroom, she said, that she was coming in now and that I had to wait! She said our visit will only be 5 minutes long and it was my annual wellness visit. She should be fired.
I have already recommended Dr. Schott to friends and family. She is engaging and thorough, I have never felt as comfortable speaking to my doctor as I do with her. All doctors should be like Dr. Schott.
Winchester Internal Medicine is a very good practice. However, in several experiences with this particular physician, Dr. Schott, I would not recommend choosing her as your physician. Her comments regarding other patients are unnecessary and uncomfortable. Also during the departure of my original physician from there, the office moved me through two doctors and settled on Dr. Schott. When I asked to be moved to another physician, even one that I'd seen before, they rudely stated no.
I am 63 years old and Dr. Schott is the best doctor I've ever visited. She's enthusiastic, caring, and empathetic. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for top-notch medical care.
My husband and I have been seeing her for years, and couldn't be happier!
