Always a favorite with our crowd. We come once a year for Gulf Coast Jam and stay the following week. Schooners is always a must
Their Flounder dish with smoked Gouda cheese is wonderful!
Been eating there since the 80's, it never disappoints, the gumbo was as good as ever, the red fish was top shelf!! I do wish they'd bring back that dill butter they used to have.
Awesome food had the blackened redfish sandwich with the Cajun remoulade sauce, it was very good, wife had boiled shrimp but they were a little over cooked unfortunately and hard to peel and little tough but all in all a cool place right on the beach... hung out all day ..

The hostess staff seemed annoyed, although I'm not sure it was by us. Maybe it's a Texas thing to greet customers with a welcome and smile. Anyhow, the atmosphere was casual and pleasant once seated. Our waiter was terrific. He was patient with our questions and made good suggestions when requested. I liked the patio area. The place was clean and the staff seemed busy working when not taking care of their customers. The food was so good! We really enjoyed the crab cake, shrimp, and redfish. Thanks for having us! That was my first time going there and my experience was astounding. The food and atmosphere was great. If anything the view of the beach was beautiful. I will be visiting again!!!
Schooners was a great place to eat and have fun. The stuff was exceptional! Our waitress Kaitlyn was fabulous! Definitely a most visit!
