Schmucker's has been a family-owned and operated Toledo dining tradition since 1948. Originally opened by Harvey and Nola Schmucker, the diner is currently run by the third generation of Schmuckers. RecommendedI've been going there for 45 years. I recommend the food, the opp : ed, the service and the people who work there or visit there. It's not a fancy looking place but if you want good food and reasonable prices then give it a try. You'll want to go back often!
Nice first time experience. Will definitely go back. Waitress was very friendly.
I look forward to the Jiggs dinners every March because of the low price and large portions of tasty food. It's easy to make boiled cabbage and potatoes bland and you escape that admirably. I've had bland skimpy portions from the big taverns, esp the one on Huron St which I;ll remain nameless but easy to figure out. Thank you for your excellence !
BEST PIE EVER!!! Plus, they have wonderful Goulash. Chili is excellent. Chicken Noodle soup is perfect!
we had horrible service, the server was rude and clearly didn't want to be there and I found a hair in my home fries.
