Dr. Richard Schmidt is a very skilled and talented neurosurgeon at University of Utah Hospital, Salt Lake City, Ut. He has saved my life numerous times. Without his skill, quick thinking and innovation, I would have died 2 separate times during the summer of 2003. He's given me nearly 21 years that I would not otherwise have had. I was a patient of Dr. Schmidt in March of 2006,(At the time of my surgeries my last name was Champagne) He performed 2 surgeries on my brain to clamp 3 of the 4 Aneurysms I had on my Brain. He is , and was, one of the most compassionate and caring Drs I have ever encountered. He was thorough in explaining every detail about what he was doing and what was happening. I always, always speak very highly of Dr. Schmidt and let people know he is one of the best Neurosurgeons in Utah. He is definately a 5 Star to me.

I trust this man with my life, literally 3 brain surgeries. I am so proud to be a patient of his and of this incredible staff who is always there to help me and provide me the best information possible and quickly. Whenever I send an Email they reply or call with answers!
