Great food and great people. Chad and the crew assisted us in preparing 150 pounds of smoked baby back ribs for the Heroes Night Out Veteran Resource Center. We can't thank them enough.
Very nice counter staff. The place is very clean. It is a nice mix of rustic feel inside a Hill Country modern building. The food portions are generous. The prices are well matched to the quality of meats. The barbecue is extremely tasty, always juicy, never very greasy. For south Texas BBQ, both Schmidt's locations should be well seated within anyone's "Top 5 BBQ" list.
The ribs tasted good just a little tuff for me. Loved the mac and cheese with jal. Over all was a good visit.
Yummy Bbq. Cozy place. Good for family gathering. Very good service. Love the karaoke. Very good staff.keep it up....
The "best brisket" any where period, don't have to drive to Lockhart anymore when I'am "jonesing" for my BBQ fix �
