He did surgery on my mother. She had a brain tumor. He spent several hours in surgery and did not get it out. He messed her up. She had no quality of life after he worked on her! We took her to another surgeon and he spent less than half of the time in surgery than Dr. Schlesinger and got the tumor right out!

He way overbooks. You have to wait for 4 plus hours then once you get in to see him he spends if your lucky 5 minutes with you. He asks you questions and then he answers them. So, needless to say he always gives good answers. He does not listen to the patient at all. He did surgery on my back and when I told him I wasnt better he chose not to listen and said I was doing great. If you are looking for a good caring doctor this is not the one. You cant call and talk to him or staff everything is done by email.

The whole time he was talking to me, he was taking phone calls trying to redecorate his home. I had two brain anyersms and he flew thru the information and said he could go in and get them both fixed the very next morning. See his nurse - Well.....I left and they would not take no for an answer. I saw another Dr. who informed me that only one could be opperated on --- that their was not a Dr. in Arkansas he would recommend to try the second one. Dr. Schelesinger would have killed me. The only reason I went to this Doctor in the first place was thhat I was in terrible pain and Dr of choice was booked up for 2 months. Method of operation seems to be get the patient in and out ASAP and dont waste time telling him anything

You might have to wait...but I will wait for a good doctor...and I think Dr. Schlesinger is a very good doctor! He sure got me out of pain, when he did surgery on me...I would do it again if I needed too!!!

I have never waited so long to see a Doctor (4 hours), come to find out in the waiting to check out that he had triple booked us for the same time appointment. He came in and I may have seen him 4 minutes. He flashed my films on his screen and said he could offer a steroid shot and that is all. He gave no appologies for his lateness but blamed it on his office staff. They tried to book me for a physical therapist but I told them I had to get referrals first. This is the type of doctor you want to avoid. He glanced at my films, said I didn't need surgery, and he was gone. It's apparent he doesn't have time for you unless he's going to make alot of money.
