Gray's Auto Rip off Towed my BMW 1993 to Grays to find out why it wouldn't start ? About a week later after installing the "wrong" Crankshaft positioning Sensor, and a faulty fuel pump. I recieved a phone call from Matt letting me know that my total bill would be $802.76 and to bring a Tow truck. So I pay the bill and go Tow my car from their to Bloomington BMW, where they have to replace everything that Gray's just did at my new expense of $1.300.00 and BMW couldn't get it right either. Schelen Gray is great! Schelen Gray is awesome! Honest service and they always do their best to keep costs down. They fixed my power locks and even reattached my bumper. Unfortunately, I've had to take my car in a few times (separate incidents), and have always experienced courteous, quick, and honest service. I highly, highly recommend them.

excellent experience I had my first experience with Schelen-Gray yesterday. I couldn't tell you if they charged a fair price, because I've no experience in that area. I can tell you that they quickly diagnosed a problem that was stumping another repair shop. When I dropped my car off, I asked for some bus directions so I could get to work. A woman working there offered to drive me, which she did. I had unexpected difficulty getting there to pick up my car by 5:00PM, so I phoned and Matt agreed to wait for me. Schelen Gray Auto is a waste of space and a risk to your life! Awful, awful, awful. Total rip off... First of all, they charged my husband $300 for a new battery two years ago that would have been $100 anywhere else. We just had it replaced at a really great Batteries Plus in SLP because it stopped working due to their faulty installation! These installers informed us that Crappy Schelen's never VENTED the battery which was in the backseat. Apparently all the acid vapors have therefore been leaking into the car, which is our... read more
Great Work! I have used Schelen Electric for electrical work on cars I have owned since the first car I brought in for work in 1977. They have never disappointed me. They are able to spot the problems and fix them. I have never had to bring a car back because the problem was not fixed the first time. Their fees are reasonable and service dependable. I have no reservations about depending upon them for their analysis of the issues and ability to fix my car the first time around without gouging me on price.
Spontaneous amazing service! I work at Fairview, last Tuesday I was headed home from work when my car began to puff and chug, different troubleshooting lights flashing on the dash. I decided to randomly exit off of 94 to Snelling in hopes of finding a garage to help.
