Dr. Schatz has done a few colorectal exams on me and she was knowledgeable and kind. Jeanne Gschwend
Dr. Schatz performed colon surgery on me several years ago when I had colon cancer. She had to remove my ascending colon. Her skill and bedside manner are top-notch.
Dr. Schatz was ER surgeon on call when I needed her for a bowel obstruction. She was professional and thorough. Her follow-up visits in the hospital were informative and helpful. I visited her office post-op and found the office personal very friendly and efficient. Dr. Schatz took all the time I needed to answer my questions. I am very grateful to her.
Dr. Schatz recommended a simple procedure that completely resolved my fecal leakage situation. I’m grateful for her approach and for her listening to me.

Dr.Schatz advised me to ignore an infection that almost killed me. I'm still suffering from complications due to delayed healing and lack of action on my infection. I was not on the surgery schedule when I arrived the day of surgery. I was not advised I had rectal packing, not given any paper direction or told what to do with it. I had to call the hospital on anesthesia. I was given an open hemorrhoidectomy or left torn open. My perineum destroyed. Given no explanation when asked about it. Dr Schatz went above and beyond surgical care for my son. I cannot day enough good things about her. She took time from her family to check on him postoperatively. She is professional and caring. A dying breed! Thank God for physicians like her

I would absolutely recommend Dr.Schatz, She is very kind, soft spoken yet to the point on what she felt was necessary to my medical condition. I visited a few times prior to my surgery and then again two weeks after. At each visit, I never felt rushed. She was very caring, patient, and knowledgeable. She was thorough in her explanation of my condition so that I could easily understand her. I definitely would give her five stars.
