Great guys, honest service! – Found Schafer's in 2008 after visiting a variety of garages who quoted me outrageous prices ($1,000-$1,300) on replacing my timing belt. Friend's suggested Schafer's so I gave them a try. They were very informative (provided me with a print out of my vehicle informing me of what was due on my vehicle and when). Found out my timing belt did not need to be replaced for another 10,000 miles. And the price they quoted me ($400-$500) was 1/2 the cost of all the other garages I visited. I don't think they know what there doing!!! – I was back and forth on the phone with them 6 times over a serpentine belt! I had to give them the part number for the belt and they still got the wrong one!they scared me when they had my car I didn't know what I was going to get back they have young inexperianced mechanics none look over the age of 25 I wouldn't recomened them to anyone.
didnt fix my problems – i have gone to them a few times and have had repeated problems. my check engine light is on and when i took it to them, it turned off for a few hours and was back on. this happened on a few occasions. they put the wrong spark plugs in my car, they over filled my oil and caused more problems. just not satisfied with them.
i love schafers! – It's hard to find a mechanic you can trust so I am so glad my friend's introduced me to Schafer's. You can always trust they will fix only what's necessary, fix it well, and charge you a good price! They understand that we don't all have endless cash to put into our car repairs and do not try to milk you for all of your money. Great Service good price! – Schafers saved me from a horrible mechanic. They fixed my car did not do anymore than needed. The price was below what I was quoted at other places. They were very friendly! I took my car here after a bad experience with a sneaky mechanic. Schafers found the problem and helped me get the money back from the other mechanic. I have friends that have used them for years and always good service.
