Chris was very knowledgeable. He was always very communicative and responsive to concerns. Every step of the way during the project he would explain what he is doing and why. He does work by code and he gives recommendations and leaves your home without any code violations and potential hazards. He did some extra clean up work in my attic and made the electrical wiring upto code other than powering my range hood on a dedicated 15 Amp line. Will definitely recommend Chris.
Chris called almost immediately after I submitted my online request, to my surprise. He came by when he said he would be at the house and finished the job quickly. He was very amiable. The price was less than I'd expected to pay and he explained everything he did fully and in layman's terms. Schaefer Electric did a perfect and honest job. Christoper Schaefer diagnosed the problem with our ventilation fan and repaired it. He didn't try to sell us a new one, rather, he saw the problems and repaired them. He was very professional and did a thorough job in a very reasonable period of time. He responded to us and fixed the problem the same day we made this request on Service Magic.
Chris was very professional and did a very qualitative job. It took him a little more than expected, therefore we went over budget, but we are very pleased with the result. We would definitely hire him again.
In our remodeling of our fixer upper house, we have used many contractors and Chris stands as the best. We were very pleased. Chris really tried to do the best job and we think he did so. He seemed highly competent, fair and honest with sensitivity to customer needs.
Excellent work on my 6 ceiling fans. He also noted and fixed previous incorrect installations (not grounded, not installed correctly to ceiling). Pointed out other needed repairs like loose wallboard on ceiling, too. I will definitely have him back for my next electrical repairs list.
