This place is a joke. They won’t even answer their phone half the time…
In 5 days I was in the ER 2x, had an endoscopy and gall bladder removal. I was scared, frustrated and apprehensive. But the people at SMMC we're just awesome. I'm not going to remember everyone's names but here it goes. Garrett, Dr Coop, Dr Huang, Priscilla, Lupe, Jenny, Heath, Ben, Larry, Ginger, Ms. M in the lab. Took entirely too long, and billed me more than even my insurance would cover; made multiple attempts to get itemized receipts, and could never get anyone to help me; then they sent it to collections! I have an attorney and in the middle of a law suit, that now they’ll also be apart of! Go anywhere else if you can!
I recently had the opportunity to experience care at SMMC, and I can not praise the staff and doctors enough. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with warmth and professionalism.
