Alaskan Coastal Brown Bear Viewing in Katmai National Park or Lake Clark National Park. Includes a bonus flight-seeing trip in a five passenger bush plane with a beach landing in the remote wilderness. These parks have no road access or facilities. We spend three hours or more with the bears then fly everyone back to Homer. With two airplanes we can now take a 2-10 people. This is an active wilderness adventure. We got to watch the bears fishing from very close quarters
We couldn't believe how close we got to the bears! Martin is very knowledgeable and we felt safe in the plane and comfortable with how to act around the bears. We saw six total, which exceeded our expectations knowing it was a hot summer in August. It was the highlight of our Alaska trip!

Amazing experience with Martin and Scenic Bear Viewing! I would highly recommend this outfitter when looking for bear viewing out of Homer. Martin took us to Lake Clark National Park, where we saw 5 bears clamming, including one cub. It was incredible. We got very close to the bears and felt completely at ease with Martin. The whole day was very relaxed and we really got to spend a lot of time with the bears. On the way back, Martin took extra time to fly us over the volcano and above more of the park. Martin was a fantastic pilot and guide!! He made sure we got as close to the bears as possible and gave us the opportunity to get amazing pictures. He was so patient! This was unlike another bear viewing guide we did 3 years ago, as this was more intimate. We weren’t with other big groups of people and we kept on the move to see the most bears possible.
