RecommendedI was refered to scarsdale animal hospital 3years ago by my office manager she had nothing but great things to say! I find from the front desk to the exam rooms the doctors and the tech's are all very caring pet lovers when ever my punkey boy get's sick all of the doctors check up on him until he's better. I bought my dog in very sick and wasn't sure if he was going to make. They bought him back to live. Dr. Star is a great vet. He was thorough when explaining to us what was going on , straight forward, and showed a genuine interest in taking care of him. It has to be difficult to treat a patient that cannot tell you what wrong. Dr. Starr is a miracle worker.
I live a few blocks from this vet. He harms animals known fact. STAY FAR AWAY IF YOU LOVE YOUR ANIMALS.
I brought my 14 year old dog there today. She was dizzy and could barely stand. The vet and receptionist said they were too busy and closing soon so they told us to go somewhere else. What animal hospital turns away a sick dog. Disgusting. And they are not always open. They leave the animals alone with no one even checking on them through the night. Don’t go there!!

I started taking my cat Queenie there last yr. they are very friendly and helpful. Lauren and Corie are very nice and understanding. the Dr was great with her and I'd recommend others to go.
DON'T GO THERE . HORRIBLE PLACE. After 4 phone calls and speaking to staff, I took my Mom 's bulldog to be euthanized. My Mom is 95 & cant take care of him. He's blind, arthritic., urinates all over. He's 10. I explained all of this to them. The vet would not euthanize him. Said he's healthy. So He chooses a dogs health over an old 95 year old woman.He said we can put him in a shelter. Dr starr is the best vet I have ever taken my animals too. His love and compassion is unbelievable.. His staff is amazing as well
