Popularly known as "a gem of authenticity", Chef Roberto Passon owns this chic restaurant in the heart of Theater District. The food is strictly Italian, and there are Tuscan and Roman influences which make the fare irresistibly delicious. On the menu, you'll find spaghetti, baked Atlantic salmon, spaghetti and meatballs, potato gnocchi and Carpaccio di Manzo. Moreover, you will never fail to notice that the service is prompt and quite impeccable.

The food and atmosphere are great and usually the service is outstanding. But around the Christmas holidays I came in alone to have my favourite dish (the salmon) and at least three staff members came to ask if I was by myself. I had come in feeling happy but I started to feel like Miss Lonely Hearts. Then the waiter was less than friendly. I considered coming tonight but I went to Nizza. Sometimes people like to come in by themselves to have a nice meal.
Excellent fun staff mixed with great tasting food. What else can you ask for?
We went to see the broadway play Waitress and this restaurant is right next door. The italian food was delicious from their veal, chicken and Tiramasu dessert. Highly recommend reasonable prices for quality food.
I've dined at Scarlatto's many times, and have never been disappointed in the food or the service. I am always willing to recommend this restaurant to friends looking for a place to eat in the theater district.
We really enjoyed our New Year's Eve dinner at Scarlatto. Cozy ambience, nice and very polite waiters, soft music and good meals. Just a wonderful place to say goodbye to 2016 and receive 2017.
Food was fantastic! Service was superb, our waiter Reinold was so kind. I will definitely be returning.
