About this business

Popularly known as "a gem of authenticity", Chef Roberto Passon owns this chic restaurant in the heart of Theater District. The food is strictly Italian, and there are Tuscan and Roman influences which make the fare irresistibly delicious. On the menu, you'll find spaghetti, baked Atlantic salmon, spaghetti and meatballs, potato gnocchi and Carpaccio di Manzo. Moreover, you will never fail to notice that the service is prompt and quite impeccable.

The Calamari was not cooked so we sent back but the salad was delicious. My wife's entrée was good and very hot but my entrée which was lasagna was good but cold don't ask me how they could serve cold lasagna ! I mentioned the problem and they didn't charge us for the calamari (of course we didn't eat it) and said they would give us 20% off. When I received the bill I only got 10% off. I did not argue or mention it !

Great food, and the staff was out of this world. They make sure we felt at home. If you are in the city diffidently look them up.

My wife and I absolutely loved this place. From walking in the door to walking out we felt the love. We decided to sit at the bar and eat for no particular reason and enjoyed every second of our service, food and ambiance. Can't wait to go back.

Manager is a thief. Substituted food without telling me. When confronted he acted like a bully. Also they sneakily include 20% tip (even for party of 2) with no indication on menu or anywhere else. Food is mediocre at best. Stay away

First time there. Read reviews, looked at menu and thought it sounded good. Always a little risky when choosing a place for a group dinner. Scarlatto's did not disappoint. Had the Salmon, which was cooked perfectly, started with Calamari which was tasty and tender. Everyone enjoyed their meals. Service was also excellent. Attentive, not hovering and we were not rushed! I recommend highly if you are in the theater district - it's the complete package - great food, wine, atmosphere and service!
