I was a patient for almost 3 years. At first, I was extremely happy and felt cared for, listened to, and impressed with her knowledge. Recently she’s siphoned off patients to a new PA who really lacks the knowledge to handle medication management. When I was experiencing a crisis and required medication changes I was left to figure it out myself since the PA was clueless, and I received no support or counsel from Dr Scargle. Wonderful experience with NP Nicole. Very knowledgeable and comforting. Got us in immediately and staff was very friendly and compassionate.
This was my new patient experience: 1. Call and schedule an appointment 3 months in advance 2. Received 2 "No-reply" emails directing me to register on their portal. 3. The email, an access code to access the portal, did not work from a pc requiring me to download their app. 4. I receive 2 phone calls telling me the portal must be accessed before the appointment 5. I downloaded the app and completed the registration process 6. voicemail, "We ARE CANCELING YOUR APPOINTMENT b/c the portal registration was not completed b4 5:00... read more
She was warm and caring. I seldom had to wait very long at all at my appt. times. She listened and did her best to get me through my trying time and was successful…
Dr Scargle does not listen to what You are telling her. I know my body. One medication I was having a reaction to and ended up in the hospital bc I couldn’t walk and lost control of extremeties and could not talk. I was in the hospital for 2 1/2 days. She then told me she couldn’t help me anymore bc I wasnt responding to medications. She gave me the number of a doctor to have electric stimulation (shock). And gave me the number to a doctor in Tampa and he wouldn’t take me as a patient. Worst experience.
Dr Scargle is the most passionate person I know
She takes the time to talk with you like a therapist, and doesn't "pill push." She was instrumental in my treatment of PTSD, depression and acute anxiety. She truly cares about her patients and will listen to anything you have to say regarding treatment. Best psychiatrist I've ever been to, and I've tried a lot!
Dr. Scargle is warm, welcoming, professional, and intuitive doctor. I feel safe, confident, and relaxed in her presence. She doesn't judge, but rather informs. Dr. Scargle's staff reflect her professional, yet warm demeanor. My scheduling challenges have always been accommodated with understanding.
Dr. Scargle has changed my life. I am an RN newly retired and don't suffer fools lightly. Many health professionals have not dealt with Post Septic Shock Syndrome. She understood immediately and took the time to read the printout from the CDC. She treats me as if I have a brain- surprisingly absent in some MDs - and always leaves me feeling better than when I walked in. Dr. Scargle truly exemplifies what psychiatry should look like.
