The behavior of the staff member, whose name I don’t know, was very bad in the emergency department. My younger sister was in an emergency condition, and when I went to tell her, she said, “Go to the machine and make your request yourself.” When I came back and told her I didn’t know how, she started shouting. Is this how elderly people are treated in emergency situations? If there were a negative star rating, she would definitely deserve it!

If you’re having an actual emergency and this hospital is your only option, just assume you’re not going to get help. I can’t speak for the other departments, but the emergency room is an absolute joke. Waiting hours just to be seen by a doctor—after triage already told me it would be another three hours for a room—only to wait another two hours for blood test results that the doctor rushes through, is ridiculous. Absolutely the worst ER experience I’ve ever had (writing this from the waiting area). The nurses here completely lack compassion, empathy, and professionalism. They just sit in the triage rooms on their phones while the waiting room was full of patients. One nurse in triage actually scolded me for not coming in sooner and casually mentioned that I “might” need a CT scan — then sent me back to the waiting area with no further explanation.
