Scales 'N Tails This place is sufficient. The staff is not super friendly however they know their stuff. They carry very exotic expensive pets. Beware, they do not like answering stupid questions.
Hats off to new managment, visit once more, I promise you wont be let down. The store is under new management!!!! No need to worry about horrible service anymore. Rustin the old manager was an ignorant pompas jerk who could care less about the animals or his employes, I've never been treated so horribly or ripped off with useless equipment I didn't need. We purchased an axolotl (7/13/21) and picked up on July 18th from Scales and Tails Englewood. We were told it was a young axolotl, but they were unsure of exact age. Fast forward to today and my “axolotl” is actually a Tiger salamander. It is NOT a morphed axolotl. We unknowingly were given a Tiger salamander. i was just told since im not buying anything I should leave. I told the employee I was waiting for someone. i was the only one in the store and no line waiting. I have lots of reptiles. I always need something but not from your unfriendly store. ill kindly take my money elsewhere then .

amazing insect selection. and of course reptiles! staff was helpful and answered anything asked. thank you for the centipede and Mexican Beauty Tarantula!!!
